Skyliving Elbphilharmonie Hamburg // Portal doors

In 2016, ComTür Weimann GmbH from Heilbronn had the pleasure of working on a very special project, the Elbphilharmonie, the new landmark of the city of Hamburg. In a building that, with its floating concert hall and distinctive roof and façade construction, is considered a marvel of engineering. Hamburg's most expensive and spectacular condominiums were built in the bow of the building designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron. They are located on the eleventh to 26th floors of the imposing building in HafenCity and are between 120 and 400 square metres in size.

The 2-leaf portal elements in fire protection design (T30-RS / T90-RS) are equipped with burglary and noise protection components. Just as with the interior design, only exclusive materials and custom-made products were used. These include the security rosettes with hole drilling on the outside, the personalised doorbell panel and the flush-mounted peephole specially developed by ComTür. The doors were designed according to the architect's specifications and impress with their simple but expressive design, as well as the flush, jointless integration of all components.
