Schalldichte Türen für die evangelsiche Bank Kassel

Soundproof door

Evangelische Bank Kassel

The reorganisation of the Evangelische Bank in Kassel, Germany's largest church bank, was won in 2017 via an invited architectural competition by Reichel Architekten BDA and will be realised by the end of 2020. The Kassel-based architectural firm planned and built the ambitious project from a sustainable point of view, taking into account in particular the saving of CO² in the construction of the building by using the grey energy of the existing building.

In close coordination with the Tischlerei Pfaar joinery responsible for the interior fittings, ComTür planned and manufactured various door types with different functional requirements (including T30 fire protection elements and SK3 soundproof doors). The choice of veneer and matt lacquered surface in high-quality European oak veneer was matched to the interior fittings based on a sample.
