Door and frame flush
With our door frame systems PLANO and INTRA, doors can be fitted flushly embedded in the wall using a frame that is placed on the wall. The obvious advantage of these systems is the great ease of installation and the ability to cover up any unevenness in the building substance. The wrap-around frame PLANO offers plenty of scope for adaptation. In addition, both of these designs highlight one of our quality advantages particularly well: the high-quality door frame with painted-over miter finished in rubbed lacquer quality.
Double-shell frame system without edge
The on-wall frame system INTRA meets all requirements for modern living. The door frame consists of two half-shells that are inserted one into the other, without a rebate edge like on standard doors. They are also available as a reverse-opening variant or with special functional features (see “Product details”).
Wrap-around frame with rebate edge
The PLANO frame system for flush-closing doors is particularly flexible. The decorative trim can be adjusted by +10 mm, so it is also suitable for renovation work or for uneven wall connections. For a modern appearance we recommend using concealed hinges and surface-flush fittings recessed in the door leaf.
Based on a modular building block principle, depending on the required functionality the door insert can be adapted accordingly, for example by using an insulation insert for increased thermal insulation.
Senior citizens’ center in Schönberg, Oedheim/Germany
Feel like you are at home. This is the philosophy of Schönberg Pflege- und Seniorendienste (Schoenberg care and nursing services). For this reason, it was important that the fire safety doors should not only serve as just a functional element, but that they should also contribute to the design of the living space. Through close cooperation with the architect, a number of different surface and design variants were developed that all contribute to this objective.
