The colour of the frame surfaces can be matched to the door leaf or handle.
Glazing
For front doors with glass panels, you can choose between triple insulating glass (clear or satin-finished) or designer glass with a motif. On request, the P5A version is available for increased burglary protection.

Stable, torsion-resistant door leaf construction for maximum dimensional stability.
Based on ComTür Duotherm technology (double-shell construction), our customised front doors offer:
- Optimal protection against climatic influences through thermal separation of the base door leaf / door leaf cover
- Independent design of the door leaf interior and door leaf cover (exterior).
- Guaranteed durability even for large-format doors (sizes up to 4.50 m possible).
- High stability for door requirements such as burglary protection, sound insulation, etc.
- Safety in the event of temperature fluctuations indoors and outdoors, as well as in extreme weather conditions.

- 1. Solid hardwood edges (4-sided concealed edge banding)

ComTür-Front door systems
ComTür distinguishes between four frame systems, which differ in terms of their door leaf and frame design. Decide which variant is right for you depending on the door model.
- COMPACT system - rebated door leaf 96mm, visible frame 80x96mm
- PLANO system - flush door leaf on both sides 96mm, visible frame 80x96mm
- FLAT system - flush door leaf on both sides 96mm, invisible frame on the outside 80x86mm
- CIRCUM system - flush door leaf on both sides114mm, visible frame 80x114m (see CIRCUM pivot doors)

Basic equipment RC3 doors
The door systems (base element with full-surface door leaf) are tested to resistance class RC3 and equipped with:
- Lock side: 5-point security lock with 5 locking points
- Alternatively: 5-point electronic lock or 3-point Secury automatic lock (electrically controlled, latches close automatically)
- Hinge side: High-quality heavy-duty hinges & ComTür hinge side security devices developed in-house

WEGA - Creative vision
Glass in the entrance area creates an atmosphere of light and space. The WEGA door line enhances these characteristics through its creative integration of glass panels into the door leaf.
The light cut-outs are framed at the top and bottom with stainless steel or wood modules. The fine applications, which are flush-mounted in the door leaf, lend a timeless character and can be colour-coordinated with the door leaf and fittings.

Depending on local conditions or design requirements, a highly durable paint system is recommended to protect the natural wood surface. CT-PROTECT preserves the natural structure of your front door and is characterised by its high hardness and scratch resistance. The paint system protects the surface against discolouration and UV radiation and is water-resistant.

Beautifully grown, 1.2 mm thick oak veneer with an aged wood character:
- Knots filled
- Textured surface (heavily brushed)

The high-quality, thin-layer glaze offers perfect UV and weather protection, as well as high colour stability thanks to special UV filters. The colours have been developed for outdoor use and matched to ComTür wood surfaces. Feel free to take advantage of our comprehensive sampling service.

Front door handles
The handle not only defines the appearance of your front door, but you also touch it every day. You should consider the following features when making your selection:
- Handle design: modern, classic
- Rosette design: round, oval or square, surface-mounted or flush-mounted
- Versions: handle bar, knob, protective fitting, matching interior handle
- Surfaces: matt/polished stainless steel or PVD-coated, matt brass, bronze, etc.

Front door access systems
Imagine your front door opening and locking automatically without a key. This is made possible by ComTür's electronically controlled multi-point locking system in combination with a control system such as fingerprint, numerical code, Bluetooth, or handheld transmitter.
The advantages for you:
- Impossible to lock yourself out – your finger is always with you
- No lost or stolen keys
- Maximum protection against forgery thanks to live detection
- No possibility of passing on access authorization (e.g., card or key)
- Combination with smart home systems
On request, you can combine the control system with an automatic swing door drive, which opens and closes your front door automatically. Top door closing systems (with and without hold-open devices) are available on request to keep the door open.

Door fittings
Important components of door fittings are the threshold (connection to the floor) and bumper plate (weatherboard). Depending on the door design and installation situation, ComTür offers a range of different versions to choose from.
Floor threshold
- Function: Forms the transition between the floor and the front door, covers butt joints, thermally separates floor coverings, reduces draughts and insulates sound.
- ComTür floor thresholds are suitable for new and old buildings and are also available in a barrier-free version.
- The floor support profile underneath ensures thermal separation and prevents cold and heat bridges.
- If required, an automatically extending floor seal can compensate for different floor levels and protect against draughts.
Bumper plate
- Function: Protect the edge of the front door from knocks and kicks and allow rainwater to run off.
- Depending on the door design, you can choose between flush-mounted milled stainless steel kick plate for modern front doors or weatherboards with drip noses for traditional front doors.
- With the right surface finish, they complement the appearance of your individual front door.
