OUR FOREST OF TOMORROW
ComTür participated in the regional reforestation project: OUR FOREST OF TOMORROW with 500 trees as part of its sustainability initiative. The district forestry office had called for this first large-scale tree donation campaign in October in response to the visible consequences of climate change.
On 12 March, the time had finally come. Packed with shovels and spades, ComTür employees with their families, volunteers and forestry office staff met to plant trees together. Under the guidance of the forestry office staff, 500 oaks were planted in a piece of forest destroyed by a heavy summer thunderstorm.
Senior manager Wolfgang Weimann, who participated himself: "This is a good action, we are doing something for the environment and it is also about sustainability. Wood has always had a special meaning for us and it's great to be able to give something back."
